18.09.10 London Design Festival

Last weekend I went to London [the small delight of no job = freedom of travel on free overdrafts] and managed to catch the first weekend of The London Design Festival.

The first thing I saw relating to the festival was

Process; The Working Practice of Barney Bubbles

held at Chelsea Art's Space, curated by Paul Gorman.

Displayed were various original sketches and notebooks as well as final printed designs. The original pencil and ink sketches were amazing. So intricate. Not sure I'd cope as a designer working on those hand skills.
